It’s a tradition every summer: the summer break at Fort Brégançon, on the Côte d’Azur, for Emmanuel Macron. But this year, it’s hard to resist the excitement surrounding the Olympic Games with possible trips to Paris to encourage French athletes. And to not miss any results, the head of state can count on artificial intelligence specially developed for the occasion, according to information from franceinfo confirming those of Paris Match, Monday July 29.

Under the sun, more than 800 kilometers from Paris, Emmanuel Macron follows the Games on his phone. As soon as a French athlete wins a medal, the president receives a notification that refers to a Telegram conversation connected to the IOC results, in the form of a “chabtot” (a software that dialogues with a user), thanks to artificial intelligence.

In this private loop, according to information from franceinfo, we find Emmanuel Macron but also around fifty collaborators, including several ministers. “No discussion, it’s a work tool”underlines a source within the executive.

It is Guillaume Rozier – Mr. Covid tracker, a reference site during the pandemic – who created this conversation. Without confirming its existence, the head of state joked on Tuesday on his X account: “This application is called Antoine Griezmann.” Passionate about the Olympic Games, the vice-captain of the Blues publishes all the French medals on his networks.
