A 17-year-old teenager was the victim of an attempted murder Thursday evening in Montreal in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough.
Shortly before 6:50 p.m., an individual was hit in the upper body by several firearm projectiles near Roy and Rivard streets, according to what the spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) reported. , Julien Levesque.
The victim was conscious when help arrived and when he was transported by ambulance. However, she is in critical condition.
“One or more suspects” fled shortly before the arrival of the police, specifies the SPVM, which then cordoned off the area in search of clues and to question the witnesses.
A dog handler was dispatched to the scene and investigators will try to determine if security cameras were able to film the scene.
