“A simple settling”estimated on franceinfo Thibaut Guilluy, High Commissioner for Employment and Business Engagement, in charge of the France Travail reform, while the number of unemployed job seekers increased by 0.6% in third quarter in France.

“We are talking about 17,000 additional job seekers but the drop was 120,000 over the last year”put Thibaut Guilluy into perspective, dismissing the prospect of a reversal of trend in the labor market.

Recruitment difficulties persist

“The level of recruitment remains very high with more than three million hiring intentions”he stressed. “Recruitment difficulties remain very significant, whatever the location in the country, whatever the size of companies and almost in all sectors”, developed the High Commissioner for Employment. He was optimistic, highlighting “the reindustrialization movement underway” and the “investments in all sectors of the future”.
