Going on a camping holiday in a series setting: that of Camping paradis broadcast since 2006 on TF1 This is the transformation that the L’Arada Parc campsite, located in Sonzay in Indre-et-Loire, has just undergone. Open for almost 20 years, the owners decided this year to join the franchise Camping paradiselaunched three years ago and which now has 75 campsites in France.
New animations
“Quizzes, karaoke…” Juliette is seduced by the entertainment at the L’Arada parc campsite, but especially by “the fiesta, boom boom, the Camping Paradis dance!” This season it will be one of the new animations like those of the series, offered by animators trained by the franchise. The campsite has also changed its look, on its signage but also the clothes of the employees dressed in blue as in the series.
“We have been canvassed for many years by lots of groups, but it was only this year that we were seduced by Camping Paradis”, explains Amandine Avril, one of the co-managers. His parents, Thérèse and Jacky, opened the campsite in 2001 and had never joined a franchise. “The campsite has always worked very well”explains Amandine Avril, “but we like the warm and family image that the series evokes.”
