Nearly 63 million domestic animals live in France. Cats, dogs, fish, horses, ponies, terrarium animals, birds, small mammals, chickens, NAC, but also cows, dwarf pigs and even alligators.
In France, one in two households has a pet. France has more than 14 million cats, nearly 8 million dogs and 32 million fish. And that’s not to mention chickens, horses or rodents of all species. For 10 episodes of 2 minutes 30, “never without my animal” went to meet transfixed lovers, in their profession as in their daily life. Discover the Parisian life of Napoleon, the dwarf pig. That of Philippe, herpetologist: he shares his living room with 2 alligators. Discover Emmanuel Risi, veterinarian specializing in NAC. We also spoke with Didier “Mr Robert”, the man who walks with his cow. But also large carnivore healers from the refuge “la Tanière”, Jennifer from the cat bar in La Rochelle, Lucille who practices animal communication, Clotilde and her husband breeders Tibetan mastiffs, Nathalie, Guillaume and their 45 animals, Cindy and her dwarf hens.
