Already present in several cities around the world such as Los Angeles, Melbourne, Berlin and Copenhagen, this concept allows customers to meet IKEA advisers by appointment to carry out a large-scale project such as a bathroom or a kitchen.

Here, we don’t leave with a shelf or Swedish meatballs. Items ordered cannot be picked up immediately, but are delivered to customers’ homes or to an IKEA collection centre. Inside the new Brossard center, with an area of 680 square meters, several sets of sets will be set up to inspire customers. About twenty advisers will work on site.

“Today many of our customers in the Montreal area have to travel a long way to IKEA. The Brossard planning and ordering center is part of our overall approach to the Greater Montreal area market, which aims to improve the IKEA offer,” said Eri Mathy, business development director for IKEA Canada.
