The Israeli army announced on Sunday, November 26, that the armed wing of Hamas handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) a new group of 17 hostages, including 13 Israelis. This is the third group of hostages released in three days, as part of the truce agreement between the Jewish state and the Palestinian Islamist movement. This provides for the release of a total of 50 Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 against that of 150 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.

Thirteen hostages arrived in Israeli territory late in the afternoon, the IDF said, the other four are on their way.
