This was reported by the NFL Network the next morning. Moreover, the 42-year-old man was to participate in an interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars during the day, but the Colorado team wanted to act quickly to secure his services.

Hackett has been in charge of the Packers’ offense the past three seasons, helping quarterback Aaron Rodgers excel on the field. Previously, he assumed the same functions with the Buffalo Bills and the “Jags”. In Denver, it will be his first experience as a driver.

In 2021, the Broncos went 7-10 to finish in the bottom of the AFC West Division. The team fired head coach Vic Fangio at the end of the campaign, his third at the helm of the club. His reign ended with a dismal 19-30 record.
