(Rivière-Du-Loup) A motorcyclist is in critical condition after leaving the road on Tuesday afternoon in Rivière-du-Loup, in Bas-Saint-Laurent, indicates the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, lost control of his motorcycle in a curve on Hayward Street, says the SQ.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 4 p.m.
The driver “suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital center where there is currently fear for his life,” indicates Camille Savoie, spokesperson for the SQ.
A police officer trained in collision investigation went to the scene to try to establish the causes and circumstances of this event.
An investigation is underway, indicates the SQ.
