A collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle caused a serious injury, Monday afternoon, in Saint-Damien in Lanaudière.
The accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. on Route 347, near Chemin Montauban.
“The driver of the motorcycle, aged in her forties, is in critical condition, we fear for her life, said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesperson Nicolas Scholtus. His passenger, also in her 40s, suffered serious injuries. She was taken to the hospital.”
For her part, the driver of the vehicle was also transported to the hospital, due to a nervous shock.
An SQ investigator specializing in collision investigation went to the scene to try to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident, resulting in the closure of Route 347 for the duration of the investigation.
