Cancer in 2019

And the latter is none other than the first woman to have obtained 3 stars in the Michelin guide, on the other side of the Atlantic. A size. She who had taken up residence in the United States was elected “Best chef in the world” in 2016. Three years later, she faced a terrible ordeal, that of her cancer. Indeed, in the columns of Libération, the chef tells how she met the person who shares her life today: the actress Maria Bello.

About the one who plays the bar owner in “Coyote Girls”, she explains: “When we fell in love, I had just learned that I had cancer. Maria said to me: ‘OK, let’s do cancer’. We danced, we laughed, we had dinners.”

This is what she confided to Télé Mag, assuring: “When, like me, you have almost lost your life twice, you have nothing to lose. I am positive, I want to give everything to others and to young people”. And to add: “No one made me, I made myself. And I want them to understand that they are going to make themselves. They have to learn and not be afraid. I sow a seed.”
