Two months before the first round of the presidential election, activists from the National Rally criss-cross our department on board their campaign bus. Impossible to miss: the face of Marine Le Pen, the portrait of the far-right candidate is displayed on the vehicle next to her campaign slogan “La France qu’on M”.
On board this bus, the activists will stop in the municipalities of Mayenne to meet the inhabitants. On the program, distribution of leaflets in the markets and discussion with them around the program of the far-right candidate.
For Marine Le Pen, it is also about being visible. This Thursday, February 10, she counted 274 signatures out of the 500 required to stand for election. The operation will be renewed from next Thursday February 24 and for four days, with a first stage in Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne.
