A man with 300 stolen iPhones near the Apple store

A man who had just acquired 300 iPhones from the Apple store on New York’s famed Fifth Avenue was assaulted and robbed on Monday morning, US radio station 1010Wins reported.

According to the outlet, the victim was targeted around 1.45am, moments after he left the 24-hour shop and was punched in the nose while trying to struggle.

The 27-year-old would be a regular at the Apple brand since he resells phones through his small business, New York police said.

It was while walking towards his car with his 300 iPhone 13s, placed in three large bags, that another vehicle stopped at his height before two men got out.

The thieves managed to get their hands on one of the bags which contained 125 iPhones worth US$95,000.

The investigation was continuing on the side of the New York police who have not yet published a description of the suspects or their vehicle.
