A 38-year-old man was injured in a stabbing attack on Sunday evening in the Ville-Marie borough in Montreal.
According to initial information, the police were called to go to de Maisonneuve Boulevard, near Atwater Avenue, around 8 p.m., concerning a person who was allegedly stabbed.
The victim, a 38-year-old man, suffered upper body injuries and was transported to a hospital. We do not fear for his life, said agent Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
A security perimeter was erected on site to allow investigators and forensic identification technicians to shed light on the circumstances of this attack.
