If you looked up to the sky this Saturday evening around 9:45 p.m. in Bourgogne Franche-Comté, you may have seen this strange luminous trail. Nothing to worry about, it’s actually satellites of the American company SpaceXlaunched from California on August 19.
This constellation of satellites belongs to the Starlink project launched by the American Elon Musk, founder of Space-X. The goal of the billionaire is to enable broadband internet access worldwide. By 2025, 12,000 of these satellites will be sent into orbit.
A light trail also visible in Haute-Marne and above Strasbourg. If you missed it, according to findstarlink, the trail should be visible again. this Sunday and Monday evening around 9:30 p.m.. Be careful, it is only visible for 3 to 4 short minutes.
