A hunter in police custody in the Dordogne for death threats against the gendarmes

A 55-year-old hunter was taken into custody by the gendarmerie for having uttered death threats against gendarmes. It was Monday, July 25. He was arrested in Bouniagues, in Bergerac, where he lives. At his home, the investigators found several weapons, they were Tuesday evening checking if he has all the permits to hold them legally.

The 50-year-old is already known to the courts, but only for traffic offences. He was to be presented to the public prosecutor on Wednesday, who will decide on possible prosecutions against him.
