It was in 1997 that Dany Boon unveiled their second show titled “Whole”. A show which, at the time, already includes the most cult sketches of the 57-year-old comedian. To start with “the bodybuilder”. In this sketch, Kad Merad’s sidekick puts himself in the shoes of an “overly muscular” bodybuilder named “Jean-Pierre” and makes fun of athletes who abuse “a bit too much” exercises and their muscles.
With shoulders too broad and unable to pass even a door, Dany Boon also denounces bodybuilders who sometimes use products to gain muscle more easily, all with his legendary humor. However, to offer such a sketch to his audience, the companion of Laurence Arné was inspired by a real sportsman. His “Jean-Pierre” is actually called Fred Lagacheand left us this Tuesday, July 4 after suffering a heart attack, as announced by The voice of the North.

Fred Lagache has always dreamed of meeting Dany Boon
According to our colleagues, the bodybuilder Fred Lagache liked to say that his career was decided after seeing a movie. He was only 13 when he fell in love with bodybuilding after watching “The Labors of Hercules” by Steve Reeves.
Still according to our colleagues, he was preparing to put his experience and know-how at the service of the bodybuilding section of the Léo-Lagrange club in Armentières. He was locally known and recognized, not only for his involvement in his profession and his passion, but also because the comedian who surprised his wife in bed with another pinned him in his famous sketch.
The voice of the North also informs that Fred Lagache had shared his dream with them during their last meeting: to share a moment with the actor from Armenia who avoided the worst on a plane, Dany Boon. For the moment, the latter has not yet paid tribute to his “Jean Pierre”but it won’t be long.
