A man was shot and killed on Thursday May 16 in Dugny in Seine-Saint-Denis, franceinfo learned from the Paris prosecutor’s office. He was known in Grenoble for having directed drug trafficking in the Mistral district in the 2010s, France Bleu Isère learned from his lawyer.

The man was shot several times when he had just left the Dugny apartment where he had been under house arrest since his release from prison a month ago. Aged 38, he was released on an electronic bracelet last month. He had two months left to serve a 10-year prison sentence handed down in 2016 for drug trafficking and money laundering.

According to information from France Bleu Isère, on May 9, he returned from Algeria, where the sentence enforcement judge had authorized him to go so that he could pay his respects at the grave of his recently deceased father. . Thursday afternoon, as he was leaving his home, he was shot twice in the chest and once in the head by individuals who fled.

“It’s professional work,” deplores, between anger and sadness, Maître Gallo, his lawyer for 20 years. “My client’s address was revealed by the president of the Lyon court who tried him last month for the story of the 500,000 euros bail paid in small denominations”, regrets Master Ronald Gallo. “He should have changed his address. Especially since he feared for his life. He told the court”adds the lawyer.

The specialized interregional jurisdiction of Paris (JIRS) took charge of the investigation which it entrusted to the criminal brigade of the Paris judicial police, indicates the Paris prosecutor’s office.
