This is a case that has kept the whole world in suspense for almost a week. On June 18, the tourist submarine “Titan” embarked on an expedition to the bottom of the ocean with five people on board, namely the general manager of OceanGate Expeditions, the American company behind the project, a wealthy British businessman and his 19-year-old son, but also Paul-Henry Nargeolet, a former French naval officer accustomed to diving near the said liner and “French Titanic specialist”.
Left in this controversial submarine to explore the wreck of the Titanic which is near the Canadian coast, these five people have unfortunately just been declared dead. Within an hour of their departure in deep waters, the connection between them and the American teams on the surface had been severed… and a massive search was then gripped in vain.
This Thursday, June 23, the former candidate of the “Star Academy”, Matthieu Johan spoke on the CNews channel, in particular because he is to date, the press attaché of the expert Paul-Henry Nargeolet who was on board the submarine. His intervention, which took place before these marine explorers were declared dead, was intended to be rather optimistic: “His experience, his age, the fact that he knows the wreck particularly well leads us to believe that we can hope for a favorable outcome.” he said.
This appearance literally surprised Internet users who did not know that since the end of his career in music, Matthieu Johan has converted to the field of communication and now works as a press officer.
