A first Théâtre Maisonneuve for Plume Latraverse

Plume Latraverse will perform for the first time in its long career at the Théâtre Maisonneuve of Place des Arts (PDA) as part of its “Sequelles” tour.

The artist, active since the end of the 1960s, had presented four sold-out performances at the Cinquième Salle of the PDA in 2019, but on October 29, 2022 he will actually experience a premiere by showing up under the spotlights of the Théâtre Maisonneuve.

“Séquelles” is an intimate rendezvous in an acoustic trio formula. Accompanied by Jean-Claude Marsan on guitar and Grégoire Morency on bass, Plume revisits his rich repertoire, which includes songs like “Bobépine”, “El Niño”, “Le Cadeau”, “Bébé-Rama” and “La check day.

“I have a bad habit of always wanting to finish what I started. But the pandemic took us by surprise like everyone else. Sudden stop and padadra! So I took the opportunity to revise the list of songs for the show a bit… But the “Sequelles” spirit still remains the same. What a beautiful title all the same for what we have just suffered! Will the stage allow me to set my record straight and to “disappear”… by rediscovering the vitality of touring life and its rolling camaraderie? wrote Plume Latraverse.
