Another big speeding recorded on the roads of Indre this Wednesday, May 4. In the afternoon, the Châteauroux motorized peloton intercepted a driver whose foot was more than heavy: he was driving at 154 km/h instead of the maximum 90 authorizedon the D960 in Cléré-du-Bois.
Originally from Paris and aged 71, he was subject to an immediate license retention measure, and his car was impounded.
He will be tried before the court of Châteauroux.
Significant speeding is very regular in the Indre, while the death toll on the road is catastrophic: since the start of the year, 12 people lost their lives in accidents of the road.
