An apartment fire broke out this Saturday morning in Grisolles, about thirty kilometers north of Toulouse, in the Tarn-et-Garonne. About thirty firefighters intervened around 6:30 a.m. and were able to quickly control and extinguish the fire.
The fire started in an apartment on the ground floor of a residence, rue du Commandant Pierre Hebrard. The building had to be completely evacuated due to the spread of smoke. A 76-year-old woman, who inhaled it, was evacuated to the Center Hospitalier de Montauban.
In total, a dozen inhabitants will have to be relocated by the town hall or relatives, say the relief.
