The state of Tennessee and the Nashville region were hit by bad weather on Saturday, December 9. They left six dead, according to a provisional report.
“Oh my God.” These were the words most often heard on Saturday, December 9, when violent tornadoes struck the state of Tennessee, in the United States. Cataclysms turned into balls of fire, destroying electrical wires. A tornado chaser, although accustomed to it, chose to back down.
Six dead
The toll is heavy: six dead, and dozens of houses were seriously damaged. The residents were extremely frightened. “My 16 and 17 year old daughters were looking at me. Do you see what teenagers are like, who don’t care about everything? There, I saw the fear in their eyes”, confides a woman. The mayor of Clarksville (Tennessee, United States) declared a state of emergency and a curfew. Thousands of homes were still without electricity as of Sunday evening.
