A complaint was lodged by a Catholic school in Poitiers in Vienne, the Union Chrétienne de Poitiers, after the discovery of posters “Burn the fachos factory”, indicates France Bleu Poitou on Wednesday 20 October. These posters were put up in the city center during the night from Monday to Tuesday, as well as on the doors of the college on Tuesday morning, but also near the cathedral of Poitiers or on a chapel.

The anonymous authors accuse the Union Chrétienne de Poitiers of homophobia and transphobia or of reactionary remarks and “hateful”. On these posters, it is about “to burn” this school establishment and the school logo is depicted in the midst of the flames.

Tuesday morning, the Christian Union organized an exchange in the classes, with the students on Tuesday morning. The management of the school has said to France Bleu Poitou “shocked” and judge these reviews “totally unfounded”. The establishment also specifies that a large part of its 700 students do not speak about religion in class. Groups of the extreme left or the defense of LGBT rights are among the avenues studied by investigators from Poitou.
