A deluge hit Dubai (United Arab Emirates) during the week. A cat clung to a car door until help arrived, and was saved. Aged 13, a Ukrainian woman who had both legs amputated after a Russian strike against her hometown took refuge in the United States in 2022. Equipped with a prosthesis, she has just participated in the Boston marathon and covered 5 km in one hour. Thanks to the funds raised, she will offer a prosthesis to a Ukrainian soldier who has had a leg amputated.

In New York, Tunde Onakoya, a 29-year-old Nigerian, beat his chess opponent in Times Square after more than 58 hours. This is a new world record. He also hopes to raise funds, since he created an association in his country which teaches children from poor neighborhoods to play chess.
