A cash-in-transit van was attacked shortly after 10 a.m. on the morning of Thursday October 10, in the city center of Grenoble (Isère). “A cash conveyor van was hit by a white van, it was followed by two Mercedes cars. Men got out of the vehicles with heavy weapons. Exchanges of fire followed”reported another witness on local radio. Two minor injuries are to be deplored, “hit by shards of glass” following road accidents “provoked by the event”according to the Grenoble prosecutor, Eric Vaillant. An investigation has been opened.
