The neighbors were awakened by the noise of the accident and the ambulances of the firefighters around five o’clock in the morning, Saturday July 23 in Saint-Crépin-de-Richemont near Brantôme. A car with five young people on board has just left the road and rolled over on the departmental road which crosses the town.
Young people between 20 and 23 years old
On board, the emergency services discover a 20-year-old young woman whose condition is considered serious by the firefighters. She has pain in her pelvis. Three other passengers, two boys aged 20 and 22, and a young woman aged 23 were also injured. The firefighters transported them to the hospital in Périgueux. Only the driver of the car, also a young man, is unscathed.
The gendarmerie opened an investigation to understand the reasons for the accident. They had to test the driver’s alcohol level at the time of the accident.
