In Loudun, in the Shared Café, a cake competition is organized for the occasion on the theme and the colors of the jubilee. Anne-Marie is at the initiative of this event. For this native Englishwoman, it was important to mark the occasion with the inhabitants of the village.

On the large coffee table, decorated with a 100% British tablecloth, a dozen cakes are spread out. Fabien Marecault, pastry chef and Joël Dazas, mayor of Loudun came to taste and decide between the winners of this great competition. “We will judge on the aesthetics of the dishes made but also the taste“says the pastry chef.

After twelve small portions and a full belly, Joël Dazas gave the results. The strawberry-mint cheesecake was voted best cake. So British!
