(Sherbrooke) A man was found unconscious Saturday morning in a parking lot near a gas station in Sherbrooke, Estrie. After paramedics arrived, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is considered suspicious by the Service de police de la Ville de Sherbrooke.
The police were called around 8:40 a.m. The call reported a man lying on the ground in the parking lot of the business on Dunant Street. The witness mentioned that the man appeared to be unconscious. The services were therefore dispatched to the scene.
The first police officers to arrive found that the man was unconscious before starting resuscitation maneuvers. The victim, a 30-year-old man, was then taken care of by paramedics and the fire department. Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim had apparent injuries, mentions a press release from the Service de police de la Ville de Sherbrooke. An investigation has been opened to understand the causes and circumstances of the death.
For the moment, all the tracks are studied by the investigators. The criminal investigations division, the forensic identification service and the patrol police are collaborating in the case.
