A 15-year-old young man, now out of danger, was stabbed in the borough of LaSalle on Friday afternoon.
Around 3:15 p.m., a call was made to the emergency services for an armed attack. The police found the victim, only 15 years old, at the intersection of boulevard Newman and avenue Dollard, in Montreal.

According to what the police could see on the surveillance cameras of the sector, a conflict between several teenagers would be at the origin of the incident, which occurred outside a restaurant on Newman Boulevard.
The victim reportedly sustained only a minor injury to the lower body. The teenager was transported to the hospital center where “we do not fear for his life”, indicated Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

No arrests have yet been made. The investigation is still ongoing.
