His radical publications published on the Internet had been reported to the intelligence services, who had already been following him for several months. It was a cryptic message on his social networks that triggered his arrest. The teenager was looking to obtain materials to make an explosive belt, saying he wanted to die a martyr. The young man’s custody can last up to 96 hours, at the end of which he could be brought before a prosecutor.
