Félix Bingui was arrested on Friday March 8 at Casa Blanca by the Moroccan authorities. Nicknamed the Cat, the alleged boss of the formidable Yoda clan, he was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by France. A joint operation welcomed by Gérald Darmanin, who affirms that a major blow has been dealt to narcobanditism. “Congratulations to the police officers who tirelessly continue the fight against drug trafficking”he emphasized on X.
Dealing a hard blow to banditry
With 49 deaths in 2023, for more than a year, the Marseillais have been suffering a bloody war between two gangs. No neighborhood was spared, including the city of La Paternelle, which became the epicenter of clashes between the gangs.
