Out of sight, far from the paparazzi, Raphaël and Mélanie Thierry live a beautiful and long love story. In a relationship since 2002the two lovebirds are the happy parents of two children, Roman, born in 2008, and Alyosha, born in 2013. A few weeks ago, the singer and the actress revealed that they were preparing to welcome a third child , two years after their marriage, celebrated on June 17, 2022. In an interview with The gallery this Sunday March 3, 2024, the singer, who made his big return to the charts as well as to Les Enfoirés after long years of absence, spoke on the fusional couple he forms with his wifebattered by the career of the latter.
Indeed, as a good loving husband, Raphaël remains no less possessive and jealous, especially when it comes to watching films in which your loved one plays and opposite beautiful boys. Asked about his potential jealousy, the interpreter of Caravan confirmed that it was very complicated for her to watch scenes played by Mélanie Thierry and in which the latter was in the company of very beautiful actors, with whom she exchanged kisses. This is particularly the case of one of the last films in which Mélanie Thierry played with getting pregnant. In Suddenly alone, the actress opposite Gilles Lellouche, and the two form a close couple. Raphaël was chosen by the filmmaker to produce the music for the intimate scenes between the two heroes, and it was not easy for him to look at his work… and that of his wife.
“I’m not jealous, it’s just dizzy”
“Last year, I signed the trailer for a film in which Mélanie plays, Suddenly alone, alongside Gilles Lellouche. The exercise was very inspiring and mineral. Well, I admit it, putting intimate scenes to music was not very pleasant. In front of my screen, I spoke to Mélanie to tell her: But no, don’t do that, don’t kiss him ! But it never works” quipped the singer, aware that it was a simple job, and uninteresting cinema kisses. However, he wanted to qualify his remarks, affirming that he was not jealous, but was simply disturbed to see his wife in the arms of another: “I’m not jealous, it’s just giddy.”
On January 24, 2024, Mélanie Thierry was back in theaters with a final film preceding the birth of her third childand baptized Captives. She plays opposite Josiane Balasko, Marina Foïs, Carole Bouquet, Yolande Moreau and Dominique Frot. This film, in which she only stars alongside women, must have delighted Raphaël! The true story relates the history of Paris in 1894, in the heart of the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital, one year after the death of Professor Jean-Martin Charcot, who left behind him an indelible mark in the history of French medicine. We owe him in particular the discovery of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)better known as Charcot’s disease, which notably killed the comedian Jean-Yves Lafesse and the British scientist Stephen Hawking.
