Those who know multidisciplinary artist Mykalle Bielinski through her existing work know the feats of which she is capable. For neophytes, however, her first album, for which she soberly shed her surname, should be a revelation. Da pacem brings together around ten pieces which resonate in the depths of our intimacy as well as in the greatest universality thanks to a fusion between sacred chants and electronica – which some have already been able to hear on stage during ritualized performances of living art (Gloria, Myth, Warm up) of the artist. Whether she expresses herself in Latin, Greek, Bulgarian or English, whether she appropriates liturgical prayer Kyrie or that she collaborates with Frannie Holder (member of Random Recipe and Dear Criminals) to Oneness, Mykalle, without a doubt, will not leave anyone indifferent. His voice, as deep as it is crystalline, sails between synthesizers, kanun and oud in a singular and very successful ensemble.
