Bad times for Ian Ziering. This December 31, 2023, the actor known for his role in the cult series Beverly Hills, 90210, was targeted by a biker gang while he was calmly riding in the streets of Los Angeles. The father of the family was violently attacked by the enraged bikers and the video of the attack was also relayed on social networks.
In the images published by TMZ, we can see Ian Ziering getting out of his car to try to chat with the biker gang, but they immediately attack him physically. The actor then tries to dodge the blows but is violently beaten. We then discover that he tries to flee but that his attackers, determined to fight, pursue him on the sidewalk and continue to beat him.
Ian Ziering finally managed to return to his car, under the eyes of amazed passers-by. Although this affair created a buzz on social networks, the context of the attack remained unclear. We note that an investigation was therefore opened by the Los Angeles police to try to determine the causes of the attack.

This Monday, January 1, 2024, the 59-year-old actor finally broke the silence on Instagram to explain what happened. “While stuck in traffic, my car was aggressively approached by one of these bikers, resulting in a disturbing confrontation” did he declare. “In an attempt to assess the damage, I got out of my car. Unfortunately, this action degenerated into a physical altercation, in which I participated to protect myself”.
The actor then gives news of Mia, his 12-year-old daughter who was sitting in the back of the car at the time of the attack. “I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are completely unhurt, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing audacity of these groups in disrupting public safety and peace.”.
“This situation highlights a larger problem of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior. As a citizen and parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in hooliganism. this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from the authorities seems insufficient […] I am grateful for the support of my family, friends and fans during this time.” he concluded.
