Opening clap for the “Jeunes Bobines” cinema festival in Isère

In the Vercors we saw Bashung bungee jumping, and we also see many directors who came to shoot in this massif with exceptional panoramas. Like Lola Doillon with Fanny’s Voyage.

“Our festival has the characteristic of being as much a cultural event as a tourist event, which is why it takes place during the Christmas holidays, so you can easily go see a movie, go skiing, go back to see a movie, then take a snowshoe walk “, comments Marie Galienne, director of the Le Cairn cultural center in Lans-en-Vercors, where the Festival takes place Young Coils.

An event focused on a program of children’s films and on productions featuring young actors. “At the festival, you can find around ten films each day screened in two venues throughout the day.”

The “Small Coils” selection is for 3-6 year olds. Also on the program the new Disney Encanto Where The croods. It is also an opportunity to discover Animal the documentary on climate change by French director Cyril Dion, in which we follow two teenagers.

Crossing is one of the most amazing feature films. The story of two persecuted children who flee their village. “La Traversée has the specificity of using a very unusual animation technique, since it is painting on glass. And its director, Florence Miailhe, also gives us the pleasure of being part of the professional jury.”

Above all, the specificity of the Festival Young Coils it is its young jury, made up of eight teenagers aged between 13 and 18 years old. They will present the prize for the best feature and short film and the interpretation prize. For the 5th consecutive year, Lizon Marion-Bonnet, 16, is a member of this jury.

“We are accompanied by a director who gives us a very professional look at a lot of technical details, the sound, the light, the framing, the image quality and a little bit of the acting. Result: it gives us a baggage, we see things from another point of view. And there is also the fact of debating with other young people of our age. And the fact that our opinion counts. “

The 33rd edition of the Jeunes Bobines film festival opens on Christmas day and takes place until December 30 in Lans-en-Vercors in Isère. (YOUNG COILS FESTIVAL)

“We have a workshop around animated cinema, sound effects and dubbing, so here it is really the children who sound and who dub the film”, specifies Marie Galienne.

Outside, the decor is covered in … white gold. “In the Vercors, there is all this atmosphere, the snow, the mountains, the sleds, the reindeer that you can sometimes see, so all that brings this Christmas atmosphere. The spirit of Christmas is also evenings with activities in the snow … “, concludes Lizon.

The Jeunes Bobines festival in Lans-en-Vercors offers an oxygen storm and a beautiful avalanche of images until December 30. Yes, it really is Christmas!
