The speech of Marwan Berreni’s father
As a reminder, Mourad Berreni, the father of the deceased, spoke after learning of the death of his eldest son months after his disappearance. “The door of hope has closed”he confided to Release. And to specify that he was “angry at having been left in total silence by the police and the courts.”
And for good reason, the actor’s parents felt they had been “left in total disarray”during the investigation to find their son. Their lawyer, Maître Rachel-Flore Pardo, declared at the time: “They are not kept informed of any investigation carried out. They have only one desire, that everything is done to find their son.”
As a reminder, Marwan Berreni’s parents had already lost a son ten years earlier. The actor’s brother, Bilal Berreni, was shot and killed in the street in Detroit at the age of 23 in 2013.
