Will the shortage of medicines impact the winter season? The Minister of Health, Aurélien Rousseau, wants to be reassuring, but supply difficulties persist.
Every day, a pharmacist of Deux-Sèvres she prepares-even plus hundreds capsulesamoxicillin, which she sometimes lacks. “JI made a series of 300 in 250 mgtoday,pbecause the pharmacies still have stock, but it doesn’t not going to last”, she declares. Industrial production is no longer enough. “I will make a request at the house of the five wholesalers with whom we work. (…) We can’t have any. It’s like that’s itevery days”testifies another pharmacist.
Access to medicines under pressure
“There’s clearly a supply problem and of demande”, according to Fabien Bruno, boss of the Delpech compounding pharmacy, especially since the mask is no longer worn.
