A “meeting with all the ministries concerned will be held in the coming days” on the issue of bedbugs, reports of which have recently increased, Elisabeth Borne promised Tuesday, October 3, during questions to the government in the National Assembly. “A wave of panic is gripping the country: bedbugs are proliferating in all common places (…) They are causing our thousands of fellow citizens to experience an ordeal (…). You have done nothing, I I alerted you, you laughed in my face!” said the leader of the Insoumis, Mathilde Panot.

“There are subjects which should not be controversial (…) A little decency. Yes, bedbugs are a real ordeal for our fellow citizens”, has replied the Prime Minister. An observatory is being created, added Elisabeth Borne. The 2022 interministerial plan “provided the first answers” And “an observatory” is moreover “property being created”she further affirmed.
