It’s the end of the entertainment show AND Canada. After 18 seasons, the program is being pulled the plug due to a “challenging advertising environment,” parent company Corus Entertainment announced Wednesday.
The website and social media accounts ofAND Canada will also be closed.
“We are aware of the impact of this decision on the dedicated team who worked on the show and we thank them for their significant contributions over the years,” Corus Entertainment said in a short statement shared Wednesday on the networks social.
“The costs of producing a daily entertainment news magazine in a difficult advertising environment led to this decision,” he explained.
Aired on Global TV, the magazine-style show focused on news related to celebrities and the entertainment industry.
The final episode will air on October 6, but reruns will continue until October 31.
