The government wants to strike hard against the scourge of school bullying. The Prime Minister, Élisabeth Borne, and the Minister of Education, Gabriel Attal, presented a new plan, on the afternoon of Wednesday September 27, which is based on three pillars. First of all, prevention: parents and students will now be systematically made aware of the phenomenon. Empathy classes will be implemented from nursery school, to teach children to behave better.

Social media exclusions

Second part, detection. From now on, students from CE2 to 3e will complete an anonymous questionnaire in which they can indicate whether they are victims of harassment. Third part, the solutions. The public prosecutor will be systematically contacted from the first report of harassment. Students found guilty may now be changed establishments, their phones may be confiscated and they may even be excluded from social networks.
