The history of women’s struggle against inflation

At the time of the 1929 crisis, daily newspapers published every morning the price that was reasonable to pay for food. This, at the request of the Quebec Women’s League. That same year, women were recognized as citizens.

A woman was then shopping with a clipping from a French or English newspaper. As she placed her purchases at the cash register, she showed it. If her proposal was refused, she would leave him there and leave.

One after the other, they caused prices to fall.

I would be remiss if I didn’t share this information to update it.
