Hayden is a shepherd. For a week, he has been desperately searching for his 4-year-old border collie dog, Omora, who was stolen in the heart of Paris.
Omora, a 4-year-old border collie dog, was stolen last week in Paris. He is a herding dog not used to the city or to noise. Normally, the days of this shepherd dog are punctuated by the different groupings of animals in the forests, vineyards and fields in Gironde. Tuesday September 5, its owner, Hayden, who is a traveling shepherd, was passing through Paris. Before getting back on his train, the shepherd went to buy a sandwich in a supermarket. He tied his dog up in front of the store entrance. Time to pay for your purchase and go out, either “45 minutes”, Omora had disappeared.
“He’s not moving. So it was definitely someone who took it”
“It’s a shepherd dog. So I trained him specifically for herding dogs. And when I ask him not to move, he doesn’t move. So it was someone who took it” says Hayden. “I know I’m going to stay in Paris for a long time, until I find my dog, because I can’t leave without Omora”. The shepherd is in contact with the Parisian police who inform him when his dog appears to have been seen on surveillance cameras. Until now, Omora is still missing. If you see him, please contact the Ziggy Angels association or the Animal Protection Brigade.
