Magistrates and clerks are on strike Wednesday, December 15. They protest against their working conditions, their lack of means and want to make their suffering known.
“These magistrates and clerks are not asking for a salary increase, [mais] above all better working conditions. They denounce a sick justice, a justice which no longer does its job correctly “, indicates the journalist Hugo Puffeney, present at the scene of the demonstration, Wednesday, December 15.
The teams of France Televisions were able to discuss during the afternoon with several magistrates. “They say they work more than 60 hours a week, evenings, weekends, and that is not enough in many courts today”, continues the journalist, who specifies that he “you have to wait months, years to get a decision on a divorce, on child custody or on the amount of child support”.
