The Galoupadenn des Timouns in Guingamp on January 9 for the children of Haiti

Starting from the public garden of Guingamp (22), the 11th edition of the Galoupadenn will offer on January 9 2 urban routes of 9 km (start at 10 a.m.) or 12 km (at 10:30 a.m.) to do trail running – running – or walking on the same route but in the opposite direction, through the city, along the banks of the Trieux and even at the Roudourou stadium of the EAG. No 21 km on the other hand this year, nor race for children. Online registrations are open until Friday January 7 on galoupadenn2022.ikinoa.com

The participation of 1,300 runners in 2020 during the last edition raised more than € 10,000, donated as in 2022 to 3 associations: La Maison des Anges, an orphanage in Haiti, La Pierre-Le Bigaut-Mucoviscidose and International Fireman Côtes -d’Armor (Pica) who had intervened in Haiti.

The Maison des Anges de Port-au-Prince, created in 2010, welcomes young victims of the 2010 earthquake even today, from babies to young teenagers, there are around a hundred of them and enjoy 2 meals a day. Magalie, whose 2 children adopted in 2003 are from Haiti, evokes a very painful economic, political and health situation, after the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse in July 2021 and a new earthquake in August 2021 with a shortage of food.
