“The Transfiguration Cathedral, located in the historic center of Odessa, protected by Unesco, was destroyed. A war crime that will never be forgotten and forgiven“, declared on Twitter the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Ukrainian Army’s Southern Operational Command reported that the air defenses shot down a part “important” Russian missiles. Unintercepted projectiles have “damaged the port infrastructure, at least six residences including apartment buildings”detailed the army.

Russia, for its part, claimed to have destroyed all the targets it had targeted in the Ukrainian port of Odessa, ensuring that the places hit were used to prepare “terrorist acts” against her. Ukraine has promised “retaliation” for the shooting of these “19 missiles” on this port city on the Black Sea, regularly targeted by Russian strikes. “Missiles against peaceful towns, against apartment buildings, a cathedral”reacted on Twitter Volodymyr Zelensky. “There is no excuse for Russian evil.”
