A big fear that ends well! A two-and-a-half-year-old boy disappeared in a cornfield for nearly 3 hours on Sunday evening in Languidic, in Morbihan. He was found safe and sound after a beat, which mobilized about fifty gendarmes and inhabitants.
During a party of the Languidic football club, in the village hall, the child has escaped from his grandfather’s watch, around 9.45 p.m. The Lorient gendarmes were quickly warned and the Châteaulin dog squad was mobilized. Due to the weather conditions, no helicopter could take off. About fifteen gendarmes and forty inhabitants therefore carried out beatings.

The little fugitive was finally found between a fence and the cornfield around half past midnight Holy and Safe. Slightly hypothermic, he was taken to hospital for some tests.
