It’s already been a year and a half since Florent Pagny announced his fight against lung cancer. After having interrupted his concert tour in order to treat himself and to follow several sessions of chemotherapy, the 61-year-old singer is again in the front of the media scene. Not long ago, the man who is the father of two children thus announced that he had suffered a “relapse” after stopping his treatment. “I played with fire a little bit, but I won’t play with fire again.” he confessed.
On his feet again, Florent Pagny even assured that he intended to go back on stage: “I go to festivals. I feel in good shape to be able to be on the attack. In June, I have to resume physical service and go in the field.” he launched during his visit to the set of the program “Télématin”. At the same time, the singer is currently working on the release of his next album which will include many duets including one with Slimane, another with Carla Bruni… and another with his little protege, Anne Sila.
As promised, Florent Pagny made his big comeback on stage this Friday, June 30, 2023. It was at the Festival de Nîmes that the interpreter of the hit “Savoir aime” reconnected with his audience.
