Here are two great reasons to get the compilation Re:Design 2. The first, which is by the way the raison d’être of the album, is that we aim to raise funds that will be distributed to the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal and the organization Clinique des solutions just. The second is that by leading this initiative, the composer Boha offers us the most faithful panorama of the new Montreal electronic scene. The cream gathered on the same album, 26 artists offering new titles. In the lot, several established names — Priori, Ouri, RAMZi, CMD, M. Bootyspoon, Maara, Victor Bongiovanni. The rest will be discovered in this very rhythmic first compilation (the heavy drum bass of Neo Edo, the UK hardcore-inspired techno of Boha, the electro-retro of DJ Medallion), then more atmospheric ( bewitching song by Valeda, aquatic dub house by SIM), to the 15-minute experimental fresco by Jesse Osborne-Lanthier, from label Apparent Editions. For a good cause and the best grooves.
