A new collective agreement for office workers at Le Devoir

The union of employees of Duty (office section), affiliated with the National Federation of Communications and Culture (FNCC), and Le Devoir inc. signed a new collective agreement for a period of three years.

The agreement includes a complete revision of the salary structure, which improves the remuneration of all office employees while respecting the budgetary constraints of the Duty. The agreement also creates a joint labor relations committee.

Christian Vien, Syndicate Vice-President, Nathalie Filion, Syndicate Treasurer, Sébastien Beaupré, Director of Customer Service, Brian Myles, Director, Caroline Marcaillou, CHRP, Director of Human Resources, Mélisande Simard, CHRP, Resources Advisor human resources, and Christianne Benjamin, vice-president of development, took part in the ceremony formalizing the conclusion of a negotiation based on mutual respect and collaboration.

The negotiation committee was made up of Mr.me Simard and Mr. Beaupré for the management party, and Mr.me Filion, Alexandre Pellerin and FNCC delegate Benoît Beauregard for the union side.
